With the cold spell we had at the end of last week and checking the forecast for the Lake’s I had another trip over to the Lake District on Friday and it was absolutely stunning!
I set off at 4am and made the drive over and headed straight to the river brathay and Elterwater and it was just incredible. With temperatures sitting around -10 and no wind it was one of them morning’s that I dream of in the winter!
The colours before sunrise were so beautiful, the pink hue’s that you only get in winter, the snow covered Langdales just made this scene feel almost unreal.
I spent the rest of the day bagging a couple more Wainwright’s and so excited to looking through the rest of these shots and sharing them with you guys, really hoping we get some more of these scenes this winter!
