Had to get a shot of this whole landscape on Sunday up on Hardknott Summit.
My first time up here in the Lake District and I was completely blown away by this whole area, so rugged and stunning looking back up the Scafell range.
It was like putting the puzzle together with this composition as there was so much going on and I wanted to capture the entire scene.
I sat for a good hour just taking in this view and watching the light drift across the landscape, the feeling of being completely absorbed in the landscape. Definitely one of the best places I’ve visited in the Lake District and remind’s me why I just love photographing in these mountains and keeps on drawing me back every time!
